Implementing Strategy
To successfully execute the organisations strategy it must
be the focus of every person in the organisation. How then can this
implementation be achieved? Our three step approach is simple and
effective:
Clarity - Be clear about what the strategy means, in simple terms, so that every
level in the organisatian understands what needs to be done to implement it.
Communication - The organisation needs to use multiple mediums, such as
message boards, blogs, departmental meetings, briefing lunches, pod casts,
etc, to communicate the strategy and how each persons role will help
achieve the ‘big picture’.
Cascade - If organisations want their strategy implemented, top down, they
need to translate the elements for each functional area and for each
individual. This should happen at team meetings, one-to-one goal setting
meetings etc and be followed up on at regular review meetings.
PTS can establish this framework and ensure that the leadership team are fully
trained to deliver on their pivitol roles in achieving these processes.
