Talent Development
Talent identification and development are areas often left to managers to deal
with. Frequently there is no central overview of the ’talent pool’ and
individual development is often ad hoc at best.
PTS has extensive experience at establishing straight forward and relevant
talent identification processes and creating focused development programmes
which once established, can easily be maintained. Examples of the talent
development programmes we have devised include;

Creating and implementing Development Centres (DC) for lawyers at critical
career stages in their development towards partnership. The DC programmes,
together with the resulting personal development plans, enabled more
lawyers to achieve partnership at the earliest stage possible.

Devising and implementing a simple competency framework and appraisal
process which enabled the introduction of a performance related pay
structure for lawyers, which improved employee engagement and retention
by highly rewarding the best performers.
